Are you a package thief? Do you selfishly steal holiday gifts right from people's front doors? The Baltimore County Police Department has just the thing for you this holiday season!

You could be the lucky winner of a free stay at any of our fine police precincts or even get an inside tour of the Baltimore County Detention Center, just like Nasya Kamele Duvall (19) of the 100 block of Fitz Court, 21136, who remains held without bail, facing thirteen counts of burglary and theft charges after he stole a "bait package" from a front porch in Reisterstown.

Following a number of package thefts in the Franklin Precinct, the Franklin Precinct Investigative Services Team decided to conduct their investigation a little differently than usual. They set out a "bait package" on the front porch of a home on Mardan Drive, then sat back and waited. Soon enough, at 2:50 p.m. on December 11, to be specific, Duvall came along and swiped the package. When police swooped in he tried to flee but didn't get far before being apprehended.

The next time you find yourself walking down the sidewalk and see a package sitting at someone's front door, think twice. It may just have been placed there by savvy members of the Baltimore County Police Department.
