Baltimore County Police are continuing their investigation into a domestic-related murder/suicide at the Charlestown Retirement Community in Catonsville yesterday afternoon.

Police were called to a parking lot in the community in the 700 block of Maiden Choice Lane, 21228 around 1:52 p.m. for a call of a shooting. There they discovered the bodies of two community residents, both suffering from a single gunshot wound to the upper body. Both were pronounced deceased at the scene.

The investigation reveals that the suspect, identified as Clifford Wilson Terry (78) wheeled his recently injured wife, Mary Kathleen Black Terry (79), out to their car in a wheelchair. Once at the car he shot his wife once in the upper body, killing her, then turned the gun on himself, also shooting himself once in the upper body.

The couple lived in the independent living area of the community and were therefore permitted to legally possess a firearm, which was recovered from the scene. Additional investigation will be conducted on the firearm, identified only as a revolver, but police confirmed that the gun was not reported stolen.

The Baltimore County Police Homicide Unit is continuing their investigation into this incident in an effort to determine a motive for the killings.

Police are investigating this incident as a murder-suicide based on evidence at the scene.

The women are identified as Raechele Seanese Gross (32) and Danielle Tamara Gross (31), both of the 4600 block of Debilen Circle, 21208.

The Baltimore County Police Homicide Unit is continuing to investigate this incident.
