At 4:45 p.m. on December 24, 2019, Baltimore County Police responded to the on-ramp of White Marsh Boulevard from the northbound lane of Belair Road, 21236, for a motorcycle crash. Police were able to determine that a 2018 Triumph motorcycle was traveling north on Belair Road, then entered the ramp leading to White Marsh Boulevard. The driver lost control, struck the curb, and was ejected from the motorcycle. He was transported to a local hospital but was later pronounced deceased.

The driver has been identified as Anthony John-Ryan Heilker, 27, of the unit-block of Leatherwood Place, 21237. No other vehicles were involved in the crash. Police are continuing their investigation at this time.

Driver Charged With Alcohol-Related Offenses

Just after 2:00 a.m. on August 21, 2019, Baltimore County Police responded to a crash at Wise Avenue and Park Drive, 21222. Subsequent investigation revealed that a 2012 Kawasaki motorcycle was traveling west on Wise Avenue approaching Park Drive. A 2007 Mercury Mariner was traveling east on Wise Avenue and attempted to turn left onto Park Drive. The motorcycle collided with the SUV, causing the driver to be ejected from his motorcycle. The motorcycle driver was pronounced deceased at the scene of the crash. The driver of the motorcycle has been identified as John Wolf Foster, 25, of the 1900-block of Searles Road, 21222. 

The driver of the SUV remained at the scene and was identified as Jessica Leigh Doran, 33, of the 2000-block of Ormand, 21222. She has been charged with driving under the influence of alcohol and is currently being held at the Baltimore County Department of Corrections on denied bail status. 

A career Baltimore County firefighter was critically injured this morning when his motorcycle crashed on his way to work at the Westview Fire Station.

The firefighter, a 26-year-old and seven-year veteran of BCoFD, currently is listed in critical but stable condition at the R Adams Cowley Shock Trauma Center in Baltimore. 

Emergency responders were dispatched at 6:27 a.m. to the crash at Woodlawn and Linus drives, 21207. The crash involved a collision between the firefighters' motorcycle and another vehicle. The firefighter was transported by ground to Shock Trauma as a Priority 1 patient. No one else was transported.

The firefighter's name is withheld at this time.
