One woman died following a vehicle crash in Parkville this morning.

Police responded to the crash just after 12 a.m. when a Can-Am Spyder was traveling westbound on E. Joppa Road near Waltham Woods Road and struck another vehicle. The Can-Am lost control causing it to hit a median, roll over and eject both occupants. Baltimore County EMS transported the driver to an area hospital. The passenger of the Can-Am was transported to Johns Hopkins Bayview Medical Center where she was pronounced deceased.

The passenger is identified as Elisha Denise Hemsley (30) of the 4000 block of Belwood Avenue, 21206. The occupants of the other vehicle were not injured.

The Baltimore County Police Crash Team is continuing to work to determine the cause of this fatal crash.

Baltimore County Police are investigating a fatal motorcycle crash in Essex last night that left one man dead.

Just before 9 p.m. on August 30, police responded to North Marlyn Avenue and Franklin Avenue, 21221 for a call of a motorcycle crash.

The preliminary investigation revealed that a Harley Davidson motorcycle was traveling southbound on North Marlyn Avenue near Franklin Avenue when it drifted out of its lane and into the back of a parked and unoccupied Ford dump truck. Joseph Richards (64) of the 1000 block of Foxcroft Lane, 21221, suffered life threatening injuries and was transported to an area hospital where he was pronounced deceased.

The Baltimore County Crash Team is continuing their investigation into this incident.

UPDATE (August 27, 2020 2:35 p.m.):

The female passenger in a motorcycle crash on Holobird Avenue August 11 died shortly after the crash. She is identified by the Office of the Chief Medical Examiner as Lanayah Monique Rodriquez, age 21. 

The Crash Investigation Team is continuing their investigation into the circumstances surrounding this incident.

Police Investigating Serious Injury Crash in Dundalk Tonight

Baltimore County Police are investigating a motorcycle crash in Dundalk tonight that left two people with life-threatening injuries.

At approximately 5:30 p.m. on August 11 police responded to Holabird Avenue and East Avenue, 21222 for a call of a motorcycle crash. The preliminary investigation revealed that the motorcycle was traveling East on Holabird Avenue, passing stopped traffic on the right side.

A Chevrolet Impala made a right turn from northbound East Avenue onto eastbound Holabird Avenue. The motorcycle struck the front of the Chevrolet causing serious injury to the driver and passenger of the motorcycle. Both were transported to local hospitals with life-threatening injuries.

The Baltimore County Police Crash Team is continuing their investigation into this incident.
