On 5/27/18 at approximately 01:55 a.m., Baltimore County Police responded to a crash near the intersection of Pulaski Highway and Middle River Road, 21220. Investigation revealed that a 2014 Toyota Corolla was exiting the parking lot of Mo’s Seafood located in the 9700-block of Pulaski Highway. The Toyota crossed over the eastbound lanes of Pulaski Highway and then made a left turn, entering the first westbound lane of Pulaski Highway. At that time, a 2005 Harley Davidson motorcycle was traveling westbound on Pulaski Highway and struck the rear of the Toyota. The operator of the motorcycle was transported to University of Maryland Shock Trauma where he was pronounced deceased at 3:26 a.m. The operator of the Toyota was transported to another local hospital with minor injuries.

The driver of the motorcycle was a 54-year-old man from the Essex area. His name will be released after notification of next of kin.

A Sunday night crash in Middle River has left a pedestrian deceased.

The preliminary crash investigation has indicated that just before 9:30 p.m., a pedestrian was crossing Middle River Road from east to west in the area of Windlass drive. A 2011 Honda Accord that was on south-bound Middle River Road swerved in an attempt to avoid striking the pedestrian but the passenger side front of the vehicle did make contact.

The pedestrian was transported to Johns Hopkins Bayview Medical Center where he died. He has been identified as 26-year-old Devon Corey Perkins of the 600 block of Lanoitan Road 21220.The crash is under investigation by the Baltimore County Police Crash Team. The investigation is expected to take several weeks.​

Original release (October 19, 2016  12:19 p.m.):

The Baltimore County Police Department is seeking the public’s assistance in identifying the suspect responsible for a hit and run injury accident on Middle River Road October 4.

The preliminary investigation into the crash has indicated that just after 1 a.m. on October 4, a 55-year-old man was crossing the 1000 block of Middle River Road 21220. As he crossed the roadway, he was struck by a vehicle that failed to stop and fled the scene.

The man was taken to an area hospital for treatment and is expected to survive.

A picture of the suspect vehicle was captured on video surveillance.

The crash is under investigation by the Baltimore County Police Department Crash Team.
