Booking photo of Joshua Jamaal Robinson.Baltimore County Police have charged Joshua Jamaal Robinson, 31, of the 200-block of River Way Ct, 21117 with second-degree rape, third-degree sex offense, fourth-degree sex offense, and two counts of second-degree assault.

This investigation revealed just after 10:30 p.m. on June 1, 2019, someone contacted Uber on behalf of the victim in order to take the 25-year-old female home. When the victim did not make it home, family members started to worry and used a phone app to determine the victim’s location. Her location was shown to be the area of Jenifer Road and W. Timonium Road. The victim’s father went to the area where he saw a parked car. He walked up to the car and eventually saw his daughter and the suspect in the back seat of the vehicle. The suspect opened the car door and the victim’s father saw the victim lying on the backseat and was visibly upset. After arguing with the victim’s father, the suspect got into the driver’s seat and drove off. As the suspect was leaving, he threw the victim’s purse out of the car, striking the victim’s father in the face.

Baltimore County detectives conducted an investigation and were able to identify the Uber driver as Joshua Robinson. The suspect was arrested on June 6, 2019 and is currently being held at the Baltimore County Department of Corrections on denied bond status.
