Police are investigating after a man walked into a hospital with a gunshot wound.

The preliminary investigation revealed that just before 1 a.m., May 17, a 29-year-old man was shot by an unknown suspect while in the 2000 block of Northeast Avenue, 21227. He sustained a non life-threatening injury to his upper body, was treated and released.

Baltimore County Violent Crime detectives are investigating the circumstances surrounding this incident. Anyone who has any information is asked to contact detectives by calling 410-307-2020.
