Just after 6:30 p.m. on April 21, 2019, Baltimore County Police responded to the 3800-block of Hollins Ferry Road, 21227 for a stabbing. Upon arrival, police located the victim, a 44-year-old man, suffering from a stab wound to the upper body. He was transported to a local hospital where he is expected to survive his injuries.

The subsequent investigation determined that the victim and suspect were involved in an argument after getting out of the truck in the parking lot of the Speedy Mart on Hollins Ferry Road. The suspect stabbed the victim and then ran from the area. Detectives are actively investigating this crime and believe that this is an isolated incident.

At 5:25 p.m. on January 6, 2019, Baltimore County Police responded to a fatal crash involving a dirt bike in the area of Hollins Ferry Road and Third Avenue, 21227. Crash team investigators determined that the dirt bike was traveling north on Hollins Ferry Road when the driver fell off of the bike. The driver of the bike was transported to Saint Agnes Hospital, where he was pronounced deceased.

The driver was identified as James Lee Divers, 18, of the 2000-block of North Bentalou Street, 21216. Officers are continuing their investigation at this time.
