Baltimore County Police are continuing their investigation into a late night shooting that left one man dead.

Officers responded for the call of a shooting around 10 p.m. Friday night. The victim, an adult man, was located to the rear of the 500 block of Welbrook Road, 21221 with a gunshot wound to the upper body. Medics responded and pronounced the man deceased at the scene. He is identified as Zeshaan Ali Toppa (21) of the 300 block of Leeanne Road, 21221.

Detectives from the Baltimore County Police Homicide Unit are continuing their investigation into this shooting this morning. Anyone who may have information is asked to contact police by calling 410-307-2020. Callers may remain anonymous and may be eligible for a reward when submitting tips through Metro Crime Stoppers.

Baltimore County Police are investigating a double shooting in the Wilkens Precinct tonight.

Officers responded to the unit block of Babybird Court at 5:23 p.m. for a shooting call and discovered two victims suffering from gunshot wounds, an adult man and a 14-year-old boy. Both were transported to an area hospital for treatment and are expected to survive their wounds. The suspect(s) fled the scene immediately following the shooting.

Detectives from the Baltimore County Police Violent Crimes Unit are continuing their investigation into the circumstances surrounding this shooting. Police are investigating a shooting on Babybird Court that injured a man early this morning.

Officers responded to multiple calls for shots fired in the unit block of Babybird Court around 1:30 a.m. and discovered damage to a few vehicles in the area, but no reported injuries. Just before 3 a.m. an adult man walked into an area hospital suffering from a non-life-threatening gunshot wound to the upper body and indicated he was on Babybird Court when he was shot.

Detectives from the Baltimore County Police Violent Crimes Unit are continuing the investigation into the circumstances surrounding this shooting. Anyone who has not already spoken with investigators, or who may have additional information regarding this shooting, is asked to contact detectives by calling 410-307-2020. Callers may remain anonymous and may be eligible for a reward when submitting tips through Metro Crime Stoppers.
