The Baltimore County Police Department Robbery Unit is asking for the public’s help with identifying a suspect that committed several armed robberies in the Dundalk area of Baltimore County between mid-January through the beginning of March, 2018. 

This suspect is responsible for robbing a number of liquor stores and convenience style stores, including the BP Gas Station at 800 Merritt Boulevard, Wise Liquors at 307 Wise Avenue, and Bite My Slice at 7014 German Hill Road, all in Dundalk.

While detectives have not obtained a usable image to release from surveillance video, the suspect is described as being a tall, possibly biracial man, approximately 5’10” to 6 feet tall, and an average weight. Anyone who may have information regarding these robberies is asked to contact police by calling 410-307-2020.

Baltimore County Police are investigating after an ATV operator is seriously injured in a crash in Dundalk last night.

The preliminary investigation has indicated that just after 11 p.m., an ATV had been traveling west-bound on German Hill Road near Hillshire Road when it struck a parked car. The operator of the ATV, 50-year-old Robert Edward Marston of the 7300 block of Manchester Road 21222, was transported to Johns Hopkins Bayview Medical Center for treatment of serious injuries. His current condition is unknown.

The parked car was not occupied.

The crash is under investigation by the Baltimore County Police Crash Team. The investigation is expected to take several weeks.

Original release (May 25, 2016  1:38 p.m.):

A Tuesday afternoon crash in Dundalk has left a man deceased.

The preliminary investigation into the crash has indicated that just after 3 p.m., a motor scooter had been traveling south-bound on North Point Road approaching German Hill Road. A 2007 Ford Taurus was traveling north-bound on North Point Road. The motor scooter crossed over into the north-bound lanes of North Point Road and was struck by the Ford Taurus.

The operator of the motor scooter, 49-year-old Robert Richard Suter of the 1900 block of Yorkway 21222, was declared deceased at the scene.

The Ford Taurus remained at the scene.

This crash remains under investigation by the Baltimore County Police Crash Team. The investigation is expected to take several weeks.
