The boy, who wandered away from home, has been identified and returned to his parents.

Original Release (September 3, 2017 2:34 p.m.):

Baltimore County Police need the public's assistance in identifying a young child that was found around 1 p.m. in the area of  Finsbury Road and Brinsmaid Court in White Marsh Precinct. 

The child has not spoken to police so may have mental challenges. He is a black male and appears to be approximately 2 or 2-1/2 years old. Police have gone door-to-door around the neighborhood but he remains unidentified. 

Anyone who may recognize this child is asked to contact police by dialing 9-1-1 or calling Precinct 9 at 410-887-5000.

UPDATE (June 27, 2017 6:15 p.m.):

The girl found wandering around Security Square Mall has been identified and reunited with family. Baltimore County Police thank all who helped to identify her and locate her family.

Original Release (June 27, 2017 4:41 p.m.):

The Baltimore County Police Department is seeking help from the public in identifying a girl found in Woodlawn.

Officers located the girl wandering in the area of Security Square Mall. She is approximately 12 years old, but police have no other information regarding her name or where she lives.

If you live in the area of Security Square Mall, please share her photo with your neighbors to see if anyone can help locate her family.
