A man struck by a truck on Dundalk Avenue on February 15 has died as a result of the injuries sustained during the crash.

Charles George Swigert (70) of the 6700 block of Holabird Avenue, 21218 was crossing Dundalk Avenue approximately 100 feet south of the intersection at Center Place when he was struck by the side mirror of a Dodge Ram. He was transported to Johns Hopkins Bayview Medical Center where he died yesterday just before 11 a.m.

The Baltimore County Police Crash Investigation Team continues to investigate this incident but do not believe that impairment by either party was a factor in this crash.

UPDATE (December 20, 2017 12:43 p.m.):

The pedestrian struck and killed in while crossing Dundalk Avenue Sunday night has been identified as Danny Ray Cornett (56) of the unit block of South Carrollton Avenue, 21223. The Baltimore County Police Crash Investigation Team continues to investigate the circumstances surrounding this fatal pedestrian crash.

Original Release (December 18, 2017 9:06 a.m.):

On December 17, 2017 just after 7:00 p.m., police responded to the intersection of Dundalk Avenue and Bayship Road, 21222 for a crash involving a pedestrian. The pedestrian, a 56-year-old man, was transported to a local hospital where he was later pronounced deceased.

The man was struck by a 2012 Honda Accord. The driver of the Honda did remained at the scene of the crash. Police are investigating the details that led up to the collision at this time. 

UPDATE (August 11, 2017 8:27 a.m.):

The driver of the truck involved in a single-vehicle crash in Dundalk early yesterday morning is identified as Elier Rocha Jaquez (27) of the 800 block of Shipfriend Road in Middle River.

The Baltimore County Crash Investigation Team continues to investigate the cause of this crash.

Original Release (August 10, 2017 12:07 p.m.):

Baltimore County Police Crash Investigators continue to investigate a single-vehicle crash in Dundalk that left one person dead early this morning.

The preliminary investigation indicates that a Ford truck was traveling southbound on Dundalk Avenue around 4:08 a.m. when it struck a median curb near Sollers Point Road, overturned, and caught fire. The driver was pronounced dead at the scene and transported to the Office of the Chief Medical Examiner for autopsy.
