The Baltimore County Police Department’s 151st Recruit Class graduation will take place Thursday, June 13 at 7:30 p.m. The ceremony will take place at Loch Raven Senior High School, 1212 Cowpens Avenue, 21286.

County Executive Johnny Olszewski will make remarks, then Police Chief Terrence B. Sheridan will present the awards. Chief Terrence Sheridan, Sheriff R. Jay Fisher of the Baltimore County Sheriff’s Office, Chief Teresa Walter of the Havre de Grace Police Department, and Karen Kruger, Executive Director of the Maryland Police and Correctional Training Commissions, will present the diplomas.

The Honorable Julie Ensor, Clerk of the Circuit Court, will administer the Oath of Office and the Reverend Paul Palazzi will preside over the benediction and adjournment.

The recruits trained for 27 weeks and will spend the next two years in the field as they apply the skills learned in the classroom.

On Friday, August 31, fifteen Baltimore County police officers will be promoted.

The 10 a.m. ceremony will take place at the Sollers Point Multi-Purpose Center, 323 Sollers Point Road, Dundalk, Maryland 21222.

Family and friends will join Chief Terrence B. Sheridan and other dignitaries for this happy event. Chief Sheridan will award the certificates to the newly promoted officers. Ms. Julie Ensor, Clerk of the Court for Baltimore County, will administer the oath of office, and the Reverend Joseph Skillman, Departmental Chaplain, will preside over the invocation and benediction.

The following is a list of the promoted officers and their assignments.

  • Lieutenant David P. Trivett is promoted to the rank of Captain and is assigned to the Employment Section.
  • Sergeant Kathryn D. Greenbeck is promoted to the rank of Lieutenant and is assigned to Precinct 2/Woodlawn.
  • Sergeant Raymond G. Mullaney is promoted to the rank of Lieutenant and is assigned to Precinct 9/White Marsh.
  • Sergeant Leonard C. Schroeder is promoted to the rank of Lieutenant and is assigned to Precinct 6/Towson.
  • Corporal Kevin J. Cox is promoted to the rank of Sergeant and is assigned to Precinct 1/Wilkens.
  • Corporal Jason R. Eaton is promoted to the rank of Sergeant and is assigned to Precinct 11/Essex.
  • Corporal Anthony S. Johns is promoted to the rank of Sergeant and is assigned to Precinct 4/Pikesville.
  • Corporal James G. McKnight is promoted to the rank of Sergeant and is assigned to Precinct 1/Wilkens.
  • Corporal Justin D. Tester is promoted to the rank of Sergeant and is assigned to Precinct 11/Essex.
  • Officer Aaron L. Galloway is promoted to the rank of Corporal and is assigned to Precinct 12/Dundalk.
  • Officer Daniel W. Healy is promoted to the rank of Corporal and is assigned to Precinct 3/Franklin.
  • Officer Jason E. Lentz is promoted to the rank of Corporal and is assigned to Precinct 11/Essex.
  • Officer Stephen T. Roesler is promoted to the rank of Corporal and is assigned to Precinct 12/Dundalk.
  • Officer Shane M. Sammons is promoted to the rank of Corporal and is assigned to Precinct 6/Towson.
  • Officer Michael J. Wisniewski is promoted to the rank of Corporal and is assigned to Precinct 9/White Marsh.

A promotional ceremony for 48 members of the Baltimore County Fire Department will take place at the Randallstown Community Center, 3505 Resource Drive, Randallstown, 21133 today at 1 p.m.

Fire Chief John J. Hohman and other county dignitaries are scheduled to attend. Clerk of the Court, Julie L. Ensor, will administer the oath of office to the promotees, and the Reverend Herbert Watson Jr. will deliver the invocation.
