Baltimore County Police are investigating a fatal motorcycle crash in Essex last night that left one man dead.

Just before 9 p.m. on August 30, police responded to North Marlyn Avenue and Franklin Avenue, 21221 for a call of a motorcycle crash.

The preliminary investigation revealed that a Harley Davidson motorcycle was traveling southbound on North Marlyn Avenue near Franklin Avenue when it drifted out of its lane and into the back of a parked and unoccupied Ford dump truck. Joseph Richards (64) of the 1000 block of Foxcroft Lane, 21221, suffered life threatening injuries and was transported to an area hospital where he was pronounced deceased.

The Baltimore County Crash Team is continuing their investigation into this incident.

UPDATE (August 17, 2020 12:22 p.m.):

Baltimore County Police have identified the victim killed in Sundays shooting as Gary Printice Melvin (30) of the unit block of Brookebury Drive, 21136.

Just after 5 a.m. on August 16, police responded to the 11000 block of Reisterstown Road, 21136 for a call of a shooting. Responding officers found the victim on the parking lot suffering from a gunshot wound to the upper body. He was transported to a local hospital where he died. The suspect fled prior to police arriving. Police believe the victim was targeted.

Detectives from the Baltimore County Police Department's Homicide Unit are investigating the circumstances surrounding this murder.

Anyone who may have additional information is asked to contact detectives by calling 410-307-2020. Callers may remain anonymous and may be eligible for a reward when submitting tips through Metro Crime Stoppers.

Police Investigating a Shooting in Reisterstown That Left One Dead

Baltimore County Police are investigating a shooting in Reisterstown this morning that left one victim dead. 

Just after 5 a.m. on August 16, police responded to the 11000 block of Reisterstown Road, 21136 for a call of a shooting. Officers found the victim suffering from a gunshot wound. The victim was  transported to a local hospital where they later died. 

Detectives from the Baltimore County Police Department's Homicide Unit are investigating the circumstances surrounding this murder.

Baltimore County Police are investigating a fatal motor vehicle crash in Randallstown this morning.

Just before 3 a.m. on August 12 police responded to Liberty Road & Old Court Road, 21133 for a pedestrian struck. The preliminary investigation revealed that a Honda Accord was traveling westbound on Liberty Road near Old Court Road when it struck a pedestrian as he crossed Liberty Road. Tuma Fombon Cho (25) of no fixed address was pronounced deceased at the scene. He was not in the crosswalk at the time he was struck. The Honda Accord remained at the scene.

The Baltimore County Police Crash Team is continuing their investigation.
