A joint investigation by Baltimore County Police Department's Organized Retail Crimes Team, the Carroll County Sheriff's Office and Maryland State Police has resulted in the arrest of an Owings Mills man who was purchasing stolen goods at a Gwynn Oak pawn shop.

The investigation originated several months ago with the Carroll County Sheriff's Office, concerned about a connection between crime in Carroll County and the Gold Trading Center in the 7100 block of Liberty Road, 21207.

On April 11, law enforcement agencies executed a search warrant on Gold Trading Center. Zakhar Trutsi, identified as the store owner, was arrested at the store and charged with three theft-related crimes.

Trutsi, 62, of the 100 block of Plantation Way, 21117, is free on $25,000 bail.
