Booking photo of Keith DuvallBaltimore County Police have formally charged the suspect arrested after threatening demonstrators in front of Vince's Crabhouse on Saturday.

Keith Francis Duvall (52) of the 700 block of 5th Avenue, 21227 is charged with second degree assault, disorderly conduct, and driving under the influence of alcohol after an officer in the area observed him park near the demonstrators and engage them in a verbal exchange. Duvall then returned to his car to retrieve a bat and was stopped by the officer as he approached the demonstrators with the bat in hand. After detecting the odor of an alcoholic beverage on Duvall's breath, he was administered sobriety tests and placed under arrest.

Duvall was transported to an area hospital for treatment of an undisclosed medical condition and released on his own recognizance yesterday following a bail review hearing.

Original Release (June 20, 2020 11:49 p.m.):

Baltimore County Police arrested a man in front of Vince's Crabhouse after he threatened demonstrators with a bat.

The suspect, who appeared intoxicated, retrieved a bat from his car after engaging in a verbal exchange with the demonstrators in the 600 block of Compass Road at 5:16 p.m. Officers were already present and intervened when the suspect approached the demonstrators with the bat  He was placed under arrest without incident.

The suspect will be identified following formal charging.

Update: 2/13/18 1:40 p.m.

Baltimore County Police are asking for the public's help with information concerning the December 20th assault of a 14-year-old boy. Detectives have continued their investigation, but have been unable to identify a suspect at this time. The only description is someone wearing all black clothing, approximately 5'10" in height, and weighing 175 pounds.

Original Release: 12/21/17 12:11 p.m.

Just after 1:00 p.m. on December 20, 2017, Baltimore County Police were called to the 4700-block of Stellabrooke Lane, 21237 for a serious assault. Police learned that a 14-year-old boy was returning home from school, along with a relative. When the boy got out of a car, he was approached by a suspect and struck several times with a baseball bat. After assaulting the child, the suspect ran from the area. The victim was transported to a local hospital and is currently in serious condition. If anyone has information about this crime, please call Baltimore County Police at (410) 307-2020.
