A fire heavily damaged a large section of the vacant Seagram's distillery in Dundalk last night.
The fire -- which involved nearly two alarms' worth of equipment -- was under control around 2 a.m., but BCoFD crews remain on scene, working to ensure that the fire is completely extinguished.
No injuries have been reported.
Crews were dispatched at 10:02 p.m. to a building fire at Sollers Point Road and Delvale Avenue. First-arriving units found heavy fire showing from the fourth floor of the building; they and additional crews fought the fire from the outside.
The fire caused a partial collapse of the building, including the roof. This collapse made the property unsafe for Baltimore County Police fire investigators to conduct an on-scene investigation; the cause of the fire is undetermined.
The CSX railroad tracks adjacent to the Seagram's building were shut down for safety as a result of the fire.
About 20 pieces of fire equipment responded to this incident.
