UPDATE (November 21, 2018 10:19 a.m.):

Baltimore County Police have identified the pedestrian struck and killed on Baltimore National Pike on November 10 as Miguel Raymundo Perez (34) of no fixed address.

Perez is believed to have been homeless at the time of his death. Police have exhausted efforts but been unable to locate any family members for notifications.

Original Release (November 14, 2018 2:11 p.m.):

Officers from the Baltimore County Police Crash Investigation Team continue their work on a fatal pedestrian-involved crash that happened early Saturday morning on Baltimore National Pike in the Wilkens Precinct.

Police have determined that the pedestrian was crossing Baltimore National Pike east of Rolling Road in a northerly direction around 1:35 a.m. when he stepped in front of a Toyota Highlander traveling westbound in the right turn lane. The pedestrian was not in a cross walk.

The pedestrian, a 34-year-old Hispanic male who has not yet been identified, was transported to Saint Agnes Hospital where he was later pronounced deceased. The driver of the Toyota was not injured.

Investigators continue to work to identify family of the decedent.
