Detectives from the Baltimore County Police Violent Crimes Unit are investigating a shooting in Windsor Mill early this morning.

Officers responded to the 2900 block of Lord Baltimore Drive, 21244 at 12:37 a.m. for a call of a woman lying in the street with a gunshot wound. She was transported to an area hospital and is expected to survive. The suspect fled the area prior to police arrival.

Detectives are continuing to investigate the circumstances surrounding the shooting and ask anyone who may have information to contact police by calling 410-307-2020. Callers may remain anonymous.

Metro Crime Stoppers of Maryland, an organization that is separate from the Baltimore County Police Department and Baltimore County Government, offers rewards of up to $2000 for information that leads to the arrest and charges in connection with felony offenses.

Police are asking for the public's help identifying the suspects who burglarized The Home Depot in Catonsville.

Surveillance image of burglary suspectJust after 2 a.m. Friday morning, February 7, two suspects broke into The Home Depot at 6000 Baltimore National Pike, 21228, and stole a number of tools along with a large amount of candy. 

Security cameras caught this suspect on video during the burglary. If you recognize this man, or if you have any information about this crime, contact the Baltimore County Police Burglary Unit by calling 410-307-2020. Callers may remain anonymous and may be eligible for a reward when submitting tips through Metro Crime Stoppers.
