One man was injured in Nottingham Sunday evening in a shooting on Hydra Lane near Melken Court.

Police responded to the 8500 block of Hydra Lane just before 8 p.m. for a call of a shooting. A 28-year-old man suffered a non-life-threatening gunshot wound to an upper extremity after neighbors reported hearing a verbal disturbance outside. The suspect fled prior to police arrival.

Anyone who may have seen or heard anything in the area around that time or who may have information about this crime or suspect(s) is asked to contact detectives in the Baltimore County Police Violent Crimes Unit by calling 410-307-2020. Callers may remain anonymous.

Baltimore County Police are investigating a crash that killed one in Gwynn Oak on Saturday night.

On June 1, 2019, just before 6 p.m., officer from the Baltimore County Police Crash Investigation Team responded to a motor vehicle crash involving a motorcycle and a passenger vehicle on Liberty Road at Sedgemoor Road. 

Preliminary investigation has revealed that a 2003 Blue Suzuki GSX-R600 motorcycle was traveling eastbound on Liberty Road approaching the intersection of Sedgemoor Road. At the same time, a blue 2016 Nissan Murano was attempting to make a left turn onto Sedgemoor Road from westbound Liberty Road.  In the midst of that turn, the motorcycle struck the right front fender of the Nissan Murano.

The operator of the motorcycle was pronounced deceased at the scene by responding medic units. The occupants of the Nissan Murano were also transported to a local hospital for treatment of non-life threatening injuries.

The deceased has been identified as 22-year-old Sidney Anthony Green of the 3400 block of Joann Drive in Windsor Mill, MD.

Baltimore County Police Department Crash Team continues to investigate.
