On Monday, June 3, two Baltimore County police officers will be promoted.

The promotion ceremony will be held at 10 a.m. at the Public Safety Building, 700 East Joppa Road, Towson, Maryland 21286.

County Deputy Administrative Officer Drew Vetter and Chief Terrence B. Sheridan will speak at the ceremony and present the promotion certificates. Ms. Carol Miller, Chief Deputy Clerk for Baltimore County, will administer the oath of office and Chaplain Gary Cross will offer the invocation and benediction.

The following officers will be promoted.

  • Corporal Joseph M. Quattrochi is promoted to Sergeant and is assigned to Precinct 12 Dundalk
  • Officer Jeffery S. Parsons is promoted to Corporal and is assigned to Precinct 1 Wilkens

UPDATE (May 31, 2019 1:45 p.m.): 

Baltimore County homicide detectives have charged a man for his involvement in the April 27th shooting of two victims resulting in the death of Jessica Diotte. The investigation identified Antonio Jay Dorsey, 30, of the 8500-block of Heath Road, 21236 as being the person responsible for the shooting.

Dorsey has been charged with first-degree murder, attempted first-degree murder, a felon in possession of a firearm, and possession of a controlled dangerous substance with the intent to distribute. He is being held at the Baltimore County Department of Corrections on a denied bond status.

 
 

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

UPDATE (May 1, 2019 1:23 p.m.):

The woman shot on Tace Drive April 27 has died. She is identified as Jessica Holly Diotte, 27, of the 2100 block of Southorn Road, 21220. 

Detectives from the Baltimore County Police Homicide Unit are continuing the investigation into this incident. Anyone with information regarding this shooting should call police at 410-307-2020.

Original Release (April 29, 2019 12:34 p.m.):

Police continue to investigate a shooting in the 1100 block of Tace Drive in Essex that occurred just before midnight on Saturday.

Police located an adult male and an adult female victim upon their arrival, both suffering from gunshot wounds to the upper body. Both were taken to area hospitals with life-threatening wounds. The suspect(s) fled prior to police arrival.
