Just after 10 p.m. on Friday, March 29, Baltimore County Police responded to the 3400-block of Barry Paul Road, 21133 for a shooting. Arriving officers located the victim suffering from multiple gunshot wounds. Police have determined that the victim was approached by a suspect while the victim was walking up to his residence. The suspect then fired several shots at the victim. Detectives are continuing their investigation at this time.

The victim as been identified as DeAndre Rashad Miller, 30, of the 3400-block of Barry Paul Road, 21133. Metro Crime Stoppers callers may be eligible for a cash reward.

Acting Chief Jennifer Aubert-Utz has announced the promotion of two members to the rank of Fire Lieutenant, effective March 30.

They are:

  • FS Timothy Batt
  • FS Timothy DeCoursey

Baltimore County Police are investigating a shooting after the victim responded to Northwest Hospital early this morning.

Police were called around 1:26 a.m. when the victim, a 23-year-old man, responded to Northwest Hospital with a non-life-threatening gunshot wound to the upper body. He was treated and released.

Detectives from the Baltimore County Police Violent Crimes Unit are currently investigating to determine the circumstances surrounding the shooting.
