A crash involving a motorcycle in Catonsville this afternoon has become fatal following the death of the rider.

The motorcycle was traveling northbound on Winters Lane when a Jeep Liberty traveling southbound attempted to make a left turn onto Edmondson Avenue in front of the motorcycle, which struck the passenger side of the Jeep. The rider, identified as John Yoon (27) of the 6400 block of Clifton Forge Circle, 21228, was transported to R Adams Cowley Shock Trauma Center where he later died.

The Baltimore County Police Crash Investigation Team is continuing the investigation into this crash.

Jon Codi Moenius remains held without bail at the Baltimore County Detention Center following a bail review hearing held yesterday.

Booking photo of armed robber Jon Codi MoeniusThe citizens of Baltimore County came through with flying colors after the release of images of the suspect involved in the attempted robbery of an elderly woman at an ATM in Nottingham earlier this week.

Police received an outpouring of calls, all identifying the suspect, who was arrested yesterday evening on a warrant. The suspect is identified as Jon Codi Moenius (25) of the 11000 block of Silver Spruce Terrace, 21087. He is charged with robbery, armed robbery, first and second degree assault, and use of a dangerous weapon in the commission of a crime.

Moenius is currently held without bail at the Baltimore County Detention Center pending a bail review hearing.

The Baltimore County Police Department would like to thank all of the citizens who became involved in this case. This crime may not have been solved without your contributions.

Original Release (January 29, 2019 7:31 a.m.):

Baltimore County Police are asking for the public's help to identify a robbery suspect who threatened an elderly woman with a knife at an ATM in the White Marsh Precinct.

This man approached a 71-year-old woman who was at the ATM outside of Wells Fargo Bank at 8851 Belair Road around noon on December 9, 2018. He held a knife to her back and demanded she take money out of the ATM, but instead she began screaming for help. The suspect fled on foot toward Verdel Road where he got into a dark colored SUV type vehicle and left the area.

Detectives from the White Marsh Precinct are now asking for the public's help to identify this suspect, described as approximately 6 feet tall, thin, and around 20 years of age. If you have any information on this crime or can help identify this suspect, contact the Investigative Services Team at White Marsh Precinct by calling 410-887-5000. Callers may remain anonymous.
