Detectives from the Baltimore County Police Violent Crimes Unit responded to an area hospital around 2 p.m. yesterday for a walk-in shooting victim.

The victim, 34, indicated to police that he suffered a minor wound in the upper body from gunfire in the area of Eastern Boulevard and Old Eastern Avenue, 21220 around 5:30 p.m. Sunday night, February 24, following a confrontation with a group of men. Police continue to investigate the circumstances surrounding this shooting.
