The Baltimore County Police Department has scheduled a Basketball Clinic for Saturday, March 30. Kids from ages 8 to 17 are invited.

Walk-in registration with a parent or guardian begins at 8 a.m. in the Sollers Point Multi-Purpose Center, located at 323 Sollers Point Road in Dundalk 21222. The clinic begins at 9 a.m. and ends at noon. There will be pizza, snacks and water for the young athletes.

The officers will offer their skills and know-how to the kids on the court. They will learn teamwork. As they shoot the hoops, they will see the officers as people, not just someone with a badge and uniform. The person on the court is not just the officer in the neighborhood, but someone to trust in a time of trouble. They will see a person like them. Our officers are great role models.

Cornelius McMurray, a top tier coach at Gooseneck Basketball and AAU Hall of Famer, will help train participants in skills, drills and fun.

Download and submit the registration and waiver form (PDF) to participate in the basketball clinic.

Bring your friends. There is nothing like a good game of “b-ball” with friends from your neighborhood!
