A 93-year-old woman died of injuries sustained  in a December 29, 2019 house fire in Catonsville.

The victim is Louise Hyder Hole, who lived in the home in the1200 block of Keithmont Rd., Catonsville, 21228, and was found by firefighters in a center hallway.

Fire crews were dispatched at 5:24 a.m., and Engine 13 (Westview) arrived to find fire showing and the house fully involved. A single-story addition to the home collapsed due to fire damage.

The fire was placed under control at 6:34 a.m. and remains under investigation.

Just before 8:00 p.m. on December 29, 2019, Baltimore County Police were called to the area of the 12000-block of Tarragon Road, 21136 for a person lying on the ground. Police arrived and located a victim suffering from an apparent gunshot wound to the upper body. The victim was pronounced deceased at the scene. He has been identified as Jerry Josiah Eley, 28, of the 3400-block Mayfield Avenue, 21244.

Baltimore County Police Homicide detectives are continuing their investigation at this time. If anyone has information about this case, please call Baltimore County Police at 410-307-2020.
