Police are investigating the shooting death of a man after responding to a call for a disturbance.

Just before 11 p.m. last night, Baltimore County Police responded to the 500-block of Cranbook Road, 21030 for a disturbance. Officers arrived and located a victim suffering from an apparent gunshot wound inside the Quick Mart Dairy Store. Baltimore County Fire Department personnel pronounced the victim deceased shortly afterward. The initial investigation determined that the victim was shot in the parking lot of the Cranbrook Shopping Center. After being shot, the victim ran into  Quick Mart to seek assistance.

The victim has been identified as Colby Omar Woodward, 32, of the 800-block of Cinnamon Ridge Place, 21030. Detectives do not believe that this is a random incident.
