A shooting in the unit block of Solar Circle left one man injured this evening.

Police received the call for shots fired around 7:42 p.m. When they arrived in the area they found an adult male suffering a gunshot wound to the leg. He was treated at the scene and transported to an area hospital. He is expected to survive his injury.

Police are still investigating the circumstances surrounding the shooting but have preliminary information that the victim and suspect may have been engaged in a verbal argument precipitating the shooting. The suspect fled the area before police were called.

The Baltimore County Police Violent Crimes Unit will continue the investigation into this incident. Anyone with information on this shooting is asked to contact police by calling 410-307-2020.

Royal Farms robbery suspectThis suspect has taken extreme measures not to be identified, but we believe that someone may have information on this person's identity or information that may help lead us to identify him. Either way, we'd like to hear from you.

This suspect is believed to have committed armed robberies at the Royal Farm Store at 4015 North Point Boulevard on Thursday, August 30, at 10:42 p.m. and again early yesterday morning, September 10, at 2:33 a.m.

In both instances the suspect approaches the store from the area of Salty Dog's Crab House, approaches the counter displaying a handgun, and demands cash and cigarettes. He flees on foot back toward the crab house.

If you were in the area at the time of either of these robberies, if you saw anything or anyone that looked out of place or suspicious, or if you have heard anything about either of these robberies we want to hear from you.
