UPDATE (August 14, 2018 3:10 p.m.):

The investigation into the shooting that was reportedly on Fairbrook Court in Windsor Mill has been confirmed to have occurred in the 2000 block of Woodbourne Avenue in Baltimore City. The Baltimore City Police Department will conduct all follow-up investigation into this shooting.

Original Release (August 14, 2018 8:31 a.m.):

Baltimore County Police are investigating two separate shootings this morning that were both late reported after the victims responded to area hospitals for treatment.

The first shooting occurred yesterday just after 5 p.m. in the 2900 block of Dunran Road in Precinct 12, Dundalk, when two groups of people passing each other exchanged words which escalated to a man from one group shooting a man from the other group. The victim flagged down a ride and was taken to a fire station in Baltimore City, where he was given initial treatment and transported to an area hospital. He suffered at least one life-threatening gunshot wound to the upper body. Police are working to develop information on two suspects that fled the scene.

The second shooting occurred overnight in the area of Fairbrook Court and Helmsley Drive in Precinct 2, Woodlawn. Police were called to an area hospital around 1:30 a.m. after the victim responded there for treatment of a gunshot wound to the shoulder. Police are still working to determine the circumstances surrounding this shooting.
