Kamyah Brown has been located safe and returned home.

Original Release (March 12: 2018 9:03 p.m.):

Police need your help to find a missing 8-year-old girl in Lansdowne this evening.

Kamyah Brown was dropped off at her home in the 2900 block of Lakebrook Circle, 21227 around 5:45 p.m., but her mother didn't arrive home until shortly thereafter. Kamyah was nowhere to be found.

Kamyah Brown is approximately 4'0", 100 pounds, with brown eyes and black hair in braids with clear and white beads. She was last seen wearing a white shirt with a silver vest and a pink jacket, carrying a pink Emoji backpack.

Police continue to scour the neighboring areas looking for Kamyah. If you may have seen her or have information on her whereabouts call police at 410-307-202 or simply dial 9-1-1.

A 73-year-old woman has died as a result of injuries sustained in a single-vehicle crash on February 26.

Shirley Theresa Thompson of the 3700 block of Bartwood Road, 21215 died Saturday evening, March 10, at R Adams Cowley Shock Trauma Center. She was initially treated at the University of Maryland St. Joseph Medical Center after her vehicle struck a concrete retaining wall inside a parking garage there, causing her to strike her head on the steering wheel. She was not restrained by a seat belt at the time of the crash.

The Baltimore County Crash Investigation Team is conducting further investigation into this crash.
