Police discovered the body of a 20-year-old man after being dispatched to a call of shots fired in Gwynn Oak early this morning.

Around 1:48 a.m. police responded to the area of Tulsa Road and Liberty Road where they found the man lying in a grassy area to the side of the road, suffering from at least one gunshot wound to the upper body. He was pronounced deceased at the scene. The suspect, who fled prior to police arrival, remains outstanding at this time. Detectives have not yet determined a motive for this shooting.

The victim is identified as Dejuane Malik Beverly of the 5200 block of Pembroke Avenue, 21207.
