Baltimore County Police have arrested a suspect in an early morning double shooting in Lansdowne. ​

The initial investigation indicates that two men were changing a tire on the parking lot of Gateway Tavern in the 3500 block of Annapolis Road in Lansdowne around 2:28 a.m. when they were approached by the suspect. A verbal argument ensued which resulted in the suspect pulling out a handgun and shooting at the two men, then fleeing the scene.

Police and EMS responded to the scene. Both victims, ages 31 and 35, were transported to an area hospital with gunshot wounds, but both are expected to survive their injuries.

The suspect was quickly located nearby and taken into custody. He is identified as Errol Dean Davenport (56) of the 4000 block of McDowell Lane in Lansdowne. He is charged with Attempted First Degree Murder and other associated charges. He is currently being held without bail at the Baltimore County Detention Center.
