On February 4th at 10:00 am, County police received a call from the unit-block of Continental Court, 21117 for a shooting inside a condominium. When officers arrived, they found two men and a woman inside, all suffering from gunshot wounds. One man was pronounced deceased at the scene by Baltimore County Fire Department personnel. The deceased man is identified as Dominic Boyd, 39, with an unconfirmed address at this time. Police identified the woman as Mr. Boyd’s estranged wife, Shakesha Boyd, 38, of the unit-block of Continental Court, 21117. Mrs. Boyd suffered multiple gunshot wounds to the upper body. The second man has not been identified as this time. The unidentified man and Shakesha Boyd were transported to the R. Adams Cowley Shock Trauma Center. Mrs. Boyd is expected to survive her injuries. The condition of the unidentified man is also unknown at this time.

Homicide detectives believe that Dominic Boyd came to Mrs. Boyd’s condominium earlier today. Once inside the condominium, the shooting occurred between the three individuals. Detectives are investigating which person or persons are responsible for the shootings. Police did recover two handguns at the scene.

On February 3rd just after 9 p.m., County police responded to the 7100-block of Rudisill Court , 21244 for a shooting. When officers arrived, they found the victim lying on the floor inside the apartment building, suffering from multiple gunshot wounds. The victim is identified as Muhamad Birkdar, 24, of the 100-block of Rogers Cockrell Lane, 21222. Birkdar was pronounced deceased at the scene by Baltimore County Fire Department personnel.
