UPDATE (February 22, 2017 4:35 p.m.):

Pablo Javier Aleman has been extradited from Ohio and is currently being held without bail at Baltimore County Detention Center for the homicide of Victor Adolfo Serrano in Dundalk on March 17, 2016.

Aleman was arrested in Ohio on March 29, 2016 when he threatened a Glendale police officer with a knife after the officer saw him walking on I-75 and stopped to offer him a ride. The officer shot Aleman once in the abdoman during the altercation. Aleman was treated at a local hospital and released into police custody to face charges for the assault on the officer.

On November 17, 2016, after the adjudication of the case in Glendale, Ohio, Baltimore County Police detectives took Aleman into custody for extradition to Baltimore County. He now awaits his trial for the homicide in the Baltimore County Detention Center.

UPDATE (March 29, 2016  9:15 p.m.):

The Baltimore County Police Department Homicide Unit has obtained an arrest warrant for 46-year-old Pablo Javier Aleman in connection with this incident.

Just before 4:30 p.m. on March 17, police responded to a home in the 6700 block of Woodley Road 21222 for a report of a cardiac arrest. When officers arrived on the scene, they found 51-year-old Victor Adolfo Serrano suffering from multiple stab wounds. He was declared deceased at the scene.

The investigation led detectives to identify Aleman as the suspect responsible for the crime.

This incident remains under investigation by the Baltimore County Police Homicide Unit.

Original release (March 17, 2016  7:38 p.m.):

Just after 5 p.m., Baltimore County Police were called to the 6700-block of Woodley Road in Dundalk. When police arrived they found an adult male with trauma to the body.

Homicide detectives are investigating the incident at this time. Police will provide additional details at a later time.
