Just after 12:30 a.m. on December 25, 2017, Baltimore County Police responded to the parking lot of Loafer’s Sports Bar and Grille, located in the 6500-block of Baltimore National Pike, 21228, for reports of gunshots. Responding officers were unable to locate any involved in a shooting in the area. Approximately thirty minutes later, police learned that a shooting victim came into a local hospital for treatment. Police verified that the 27-year-old man who came into the hospital was a victim from the earlier call. It was determined that the victim was struck when the suspect fired several shots in the parking lot. The victim suffered a gunshot wound to the upper body. The man is expected to survive his injuries.

The suspect is described as a short black male between the ages of 30 to 40 years old. If anyone has information about this shooting, please call Baltimore County Police at (410) 307-2020.
