UPDATE (March 18, 2016  2:34 p.m.):

Baltimore County Police have identified the man killed in the March 15 hit and run crash in Lochearn as 29-year-old Matthew Dennis Robinson of the 6000 block of Liberty Road 21207.

This crash remains under investigation by the Baltimore County Police Crash Team.

UPDATE (March 16, 2016  1:46 p.m.):

Baltimore County Police have identified the pedestrian that was killed in this incident. His information will be released after his family is notified.

Original release (March 16, 2016  11:08 a.m.):

At 8:25 p.m. last night, Baltimore County Police responded to the area of Liberty Road and Essex Road 21207 for a serious crash.
 
The initial investigation into the crash has indicated that a 2001 Mercedes E430 was traveling west-bound on Liberty Road approaching Sedgemoor Road. The vehicle struck an adult male pedestrian that was in the center lane and continued west-bound. As the vehicle continued on Liberty Road, it lost control and struck a 2014 Honda Accord that was traveling east-bound and ran head-on into an MTA bus.
 
The driver of the Mercedes, believed to be a male, exited the vehicle and fled the scene after the crash.
 
The pedestrian was declared deceased at the scene. He has not been identified yet. The driver of the Honda Accord, the driver of the MTA bus, and at least three bus passengers were transported area hospitals for treatment.
 
This crash is under investigation by the Baltimore County Police Crash Team.

Original release (March 18, 2016  12:03 p.m.):

Baltimore County Police are investigating after a man shot a suspect who broke into his home.
 
At 2:26 a.m., police responded to the 2300 block of Harford Hills Road 21234 for a shots fired call. When officers arrived on the scene, they met with a man who told them that he just shot an intruder.
 
The initial investigation into this incident has indicated that the man was at home when the suspect kicked in his front door and stated “I’m in your house. I’m coming to get you”. The man then armed himself with a handgun in and closed the door to the room he was in. The suspect kicked in the door to the room, and the man, fearing for his life, shot the suspect multiple times and fled from the home.
 
Officers located the suspect in the man's home and he was transported to an area hospital for treatment.
 
The suspect faces charges in connection with this incident but has not been officially charged yet. The actions of the victim will be reviewed by the Baltimore County State’s Attorney’s Office when the police investigation is complete.
 
The incident remains under investigation by the Baltimore County Police Department Violent Crimes Unit.
