UPDATE (March 28, 2016  12:46 p.m.):

Baltimore County Police have charged 17-year-old Kendrick Lamar Mclellan of the 700 block of Richwood Avenue 21212 as an adult in connection with this incident.
   
On March 21, he was indicted by a Baltimore County Grand Jury on charges of first-degree assault, use of firearm in commission of felony/crime of violence, and possession of a regulated firearm by person under the age of 21.
      
Mclellan is being held without bail at the Baltimore County Detention Center.

Original release (March 11, 2016  8:39 p.m.):

Baltimore County Police are investigating a Thursday night shooting in Parkville that left a man injured. 

At 11:42 p.m. Thursday night, police responded to the 6600 block of English Oak Road 21234 for a shots fired call. When they arrived on the scene, they found a 35-year-old man suffering from a single gunshot wound to the lower body. He was taken to an area hospital for treatment and is in good condition.

 

The initial investigation into the incident has indicated that the suspect shot the victim during a disturbance in an apartment and then fled the scene. 

This incident is under investigation by the Baltimore County Police Violent Crimes Unit. Detectives will be working to determine if this was a targeted crime.
