The investigation into the incident has indicated that the victim had come to the Red Robin to pick up a friend who worked there. When they left the restaurant, the victim’s friend became involved in a verbal altercation with the suspect. During the altercation, the suspect fired several shots, striking the victim once in the lower body. The victim’s friend was not injured.
