A pedestrian was killed on Baltimore National Pike Friday night after being struck by a motorist. 

The driver of a 2002 Saturn Vue was traveling eastbound on Baltimore National Pike near Rolling Road in Catonsville at approximately 11:14 p.m. Friday night when the vehicle stuck a pedestrian in the roadway. The pedestrian, an adult male who has not yet been identified, was not in a crosswalk at the time of the collision. 

The pedestrian was transported to Saint Agnes Hospital in Baltimore where he was pronounced deceased a short time later. 

This incident continues to be investigated by the Baltimore County Crash Investigation Team.
