UPDATE (January 14, 2016  9:17 a.m.):

Baltimore County Police have charged 21-year-old Tatiana Chanell Bowie of the 7900 block of Crisford Place 21208 with first-degree murder and a handgun violation in connection with this case.
 
The investigation has indicated that just after 11:30 p.m. on January 8, Bowie and 20-year-old Brandon Wardell Ward were involved in an altercation on a parking lot in the 6500 block of Baltimore National Pike 21228. During the altercation, Bowie shot Ward at least one time and then fled the scene.
 
Bowie is being held without bail at the Baltimore County Detention Center.
 
This incident remains under investigation by the Baltimore County Police Homicide Unit.

UPDATE (January 9, 2016  1:37 p.m.):

Baltimore County Police have identified the man killed in the shooting on Baltimore National Pike last night as 20-year-old Brandon Wardell Ward of the 6800 block of Richardson Road 21207.

Homicide detectives are actively investigating this case and are asking anyone with informaiton to call 410-307-2020.

Original release (January 9, 2016  6:28 a.m.):

At 11:34 p.m. last night, Baltimore County Police responded to the Pike Park Plaza South Shopping Center in the 6500 block of Baltimore National Pike 21228 for a shooting. When officers arrived on the scene, they found a man suffering from at least one gunshot wound.

The man was taken to an area hospital where he later died.

The initial investigation into this incident has indicated that the man and the suspect were involved in an altercation on the parking lot. During the altercation, the suspect shot the man.

This incident is under investigation by the Baltimore County Police Homicide Unit.
