Baltimore County Police are investigating a Tuesday night shooting in Loch Raven Village that left a man injured.

The initial investigation into this incident has indicated that just after 6 p.m., the victim was in his apartment in the 8200 block of Loch Raven Boulevard 21286. Multiple suspects forced their way into the apartment and demanded money. The victim became involved in a struggle with the suspects and was shot once in the upper body during that struggle. The suspects fled the scene without taking anything.

The victim was transported to an area hospital for treatment. He is expected to survive.

This incident is under investigation by the Baltimore County Police Violent Crimes Unit. Detectives will be working to determine if this was a targeted crime.

Baltimore County Police are investigating a shooting in Rosedale that left one man deceased and another injured.

Police were called to the 5600 block of Daybreak Terrace 21206 around 9:30 p.m. last night for a report of a shooting. When officers arrived on the scene they found two men suffering from gunshot wounds.

The initial investigation into this incident has indicated that two men were in front of a home when armed suspects approached them and opened fire.

One man was shot once in the mid body. He was taken to an area hospital for treatment. His current condition is unknown. The other man was shot multiple times in the upper body. He was taken to an area hospital when he was later declared deceased.

The deceased victim has been identified as 37-year-old Chester William Zakroski III of the 5600 block of Daybreak Terrace 21206.

This incident is under investigation by the Baltimore County Police Homicide Unit. Detectives believe that at least one of the victims was targeted.
