The Baltimore County Police Department’s Basketball Clinics are gearing up for two days of fun for cops and kids.

The free clinics on Thursday August 10 and Friday August 11 offer area children a chance to sharpen their basketball skills under the guidance of Baltimore County Police Officers. The clinics will be held at the Leadership Through Athletics Center (LTAC), 2900 Hammonds Ferry Road, Halethorpe 21227.

Each day from 8:30 a.m. to 3:30 p.m. young people will learn the value of teamwork. They will also get to know officers from their neighborhoods in a different light. Officers are not just uniforms and a badge; the men and women are moms and dads who just happen to be police officers.

Lunch, water and snacks will be provided at the clinics.

For more information contact Officer Boone at 410-887-5165 or Officer Hicks-Wright at 410-887-5901. Walk-in registration begins at 8:30 a.m.
