At 10:28 a.m., an 11-year-old boy sought help from a neighbor after his father struck him with a screwdriver causing a puncture to his upper body. Reginald Eugene Cooper, the boy’s father, has been charged in this assault. Details about this case are available in the Department’s news blog.

Sometime between 9 p.m. on April 21 and 8:30 a.m. on April 22, an unknown suspect(s) made entry into H&R Block. Once inside, the suspect(s) ransacked several offices and stole keys.

At 8:50 p.m., three unknown suspects grabbed the victim. The victim was then assaulted by one of the suspects and forced to unlock his phone to send money electronically to an unknown account. The suspect's fled with the victim's phone which was later recovered.

Sometime between 8:30 a.m. and 4:30 p.m., an unknown suspect(s) broke the rear basement window to gain access into the victim's residence. Once inside, the suspect stole jewelry and cash before fleeing.

At 12:20 a.m., a suspect assaulted and threatened the victim with a knife prior to taking a bottle of liquor from the victim. The suspect fled on foot but was located and arrested.
