At 3 a.m., an unknown suspect attempted to break into Westway Liquors by removing the locking mechanism on the front door. The suspect was unsuccessful in gaining entry and fled.

Around 1 a.m., an unknown suspect tried to gain entry into the Shell service station store by breaking the lock with an unknown object. The suspect did not gain entry.

At 9:09 a.m., the victim met a woman online and arranged to meet in person. The victim entered a motel room and was approached by a male suspect who displayed a handgun. The suspect demanded the victim's cash which the victim handed over and then he left the area.

At 10:22 p.m., four unknown suspects entered the 7-Eleven and stole cigarettes and the cash drawers containing cash. All four suspects then fled the store.
Sometime between 7 p.m. on August 31 and 9 a.m. on September 1, unknown suspects made entry through an unlocked door and stole keys and two vehicles from a mechanic shop.

At 7:33 p.m., an unknown suspect broke a window near a door to gain access into Catonsville Middle School. Nothing was disturbed or removed from the building.

At 1:02 p.m., a loss prevention officer stopped a suspect who stole an item from the Home Depot. The item was recovered. The suspect then returned to the store, brandishing a knife, and took the stolen property from the loss prevention officer. The suspect was located and arrested.
