Trash and Recycling Collection Normal, Drop-off Facilities Open

Baltimore County government offices, and the District and Circuit Courts, will be closed on Monday, October 8 in recognition of Columbus Day.  Health department clinics, libraries and senior centers will be closed, and CountyRide vans will not operate. Parking meters must be fed and Baltimore County Revenue Authority parking garages will be open as usual.

Trash and recyclables will be collected according to the normal schedule and the County’s trash and recycling drop-off facilities will be open. Residents can log onto www.baltimorecountymd.gov/solidwaste for more information about recycling and trash collection, including schedules and drop-off center locations and hours, or call the Bureau of Solid Waste Management at 410-887-2000.

Collection schedules are also available on the County’s new BaltCoGo app, available on mobile phones. The app is offered free of charge to Android and iPhone users and may be downloaded from their respective app stores.  


No Trash, Recycling or Yard Waste Collection on Monday

Baltimore County government offices, and the District and Circuit Courts will be closed on Monday, May 28 in recognition of the Memorial Day holiday. Health Department clinics and senior centers will be closed and CountyRide vans will not operate. All branches of the Baltimore County Public Library will be closed and parking meters need not be fed on Monday, May 28.

No Trash, Recycling or Yard Materials Collection on May 28; Drop-Off Centers Closed

The impact of holidays varies among Baltimore County collection schedules. County residents should consult their particular collection schedule to learn when to set out materials during weeks that contain a collection holiday. Schedules are available for download on the Bureau of Solid Waste Management’s website and may also be requested by calling 410-887-2000.

Collections of all types may occur later than usual during the week following Memorial Day. If a collection does not occur on the scheduled day during this period of time, materials should be left out until collection occurs.

Trash and recycling drop-off centers, as well as County offices, will be closed on Monday, May 28.  Drop-off centers will be open with normal hours on Friday, May 25, and Saturday, May 26.  County offices and drop-off facilities will reopen on Tuesday, May 29.
