- Get flood plain information specific to Baltimore County homeowners
- Read the FEMA brochure (PDF) on how to manage flooding in and around your property
Interactive Flood Plain Map Application
We have provided an online interactive mapping application to the Digital Flood Insurance Rate Map (DFIRM), which contains the flood plain data as published by FEMA. This application enables users to select, view and print predefined maps and reports about flood plains in Baltimore County. View instructions (PDF) for using the application.
The application also contains data on Letters of Map Amendment (LOMA), Letters of Map Revision (LOMR) and all letters of map change, including the ability to download the LOMA.
If you have problems with the interactive mapping application, please call Doug Adams at 410-887-3451 or email dadams@baltimorecountymd.gov.
For interpretation of the data contained on the map, please call David Thomas at 410-887-3984 or email dthomas@baltimorecountymd.gov.
