COVID-19 Eviction Prevention Request For Proposal for NonprofitsDue June 30, 2020

Join a virtual public meeting on June 18, 2020 at 10 a.m. to learn how to apply for COVID-19 Eviction Prevention Grant funds by emailing cnevy@baltimorecountymd.gov to request a meeting invitation. Application deadline is June 30, 2020. 

Comprehensive Zoning Map Process 2020 County Council Public Hearings

The Planning Board adopted its CZMP 2020 recommendations through a vote at its regular meeting on May 21, 2020. The recommendations can be found on the Log of Issues page along with the corresponding maps.

The next step in the process is the County Council hearings. During June 2020, the County Council will hold virtual public hearings via Webex video teleconference in each Council District. Citizens will be allowed to speak about rezoning issues in each Council District.

Programs and Projects

The Baltimore County Department of Planning implements programs and projects that strengthen existing communities, improve housing opportunities, revitalize older commercial centers and preserve rural resources. The Department formulates policies, plans and regulations to guide the County’s growth and development for future generations.
