Change of Licensee

The Board of Liquor License Commissioners requires that the procedure below must be followed for all changes of one or more licensees on a license:

  1. An Alcoholic Beverages License Application (PDF) must be filed.
  2. An Individual Business Interest Financial Affidavit (PDF) must be submitted for all applicants.

  3. If the application is for a corporation, minutes showing the admission or election of new persons in the business must be provided. If the application is for a Limited Liability Company (LLC), an operating agreement showing elected or appointed authorized members must be provided.

  4. A copy of a stock transfer endorsement or any documentation regarding the purchase of interest in the business must be provided.

  5. An application fee of $500.00, payable to "Baltimore County, Maryland," must be submitted with the application.

  6. A Criminal Background Verification (PDF) must be completed on all new applicants.

The Board of Liquor License Commissioners will determine the scheduling of a hearing and will notify applicants or counsel.
