Sewers: Herring Run Structural Rehabilitation Phase 1

Baltimore County is rehabilitating 81,000 feet of sewer line spread throughout Council Districts 5 and 6. Work recently began and has progressed about 47 percent toward completion. It is expected to be completed in a year and a half and cost $4,640,123.

Information: Email enginrng@baltimorecountymd.gov.

The Future Fullerton Reservoirs

On February 7, 2017 the Department of Public Works and Transportation and Transportation and Transportation broke ground on the Fullerton Reservoirs—three have been planned for the site. Construction is expected to take about three years and cost $80.1 million. Engineers estimate that the project is now about 55 percent complete. The construction site is bounded by Ridge Road, Bucks School House Road and Perry Hall Boulevard.

Information: Email enginrng@baltimorecountymd.gov or call 410-887-3783.

Mohrs Lane Bridge

The Mohrs Lane Bridge over the CSX Railroad, north of Pulaski Highway, was closed in 2007 because of structural deterioration. Demolition was completed by CSX in March 2011—at no cost to Baltimore County, which has assumed ownership and plans to rebuild the span. A new bridge is currently being designed with construction scheduled to begin by late 2019. This bridge will be part of the future Campbell Boulevard Corridor.
