Dental Health for Seniors

Join dentists Dr. Nathanson and Dr. Romay for one of the following dental health presentations at a Baltimore County senior center.

  • Top Three Dental Issues for Men and Women Age 60 Plus. Led by Dr. Romay. This program will touch on common dental issues for the baby boomer population, as well as prevention and treatment. Topics include periodontal disease, missing teeth and broken teeth.
  • The Mouth: A Gateway to Total Body Health. Led by Dr. Nathanson. This program will discuss the link between periodontal disease and cardiovascular disease, how receding gums can lead to possible infection and loss of nutrition as a result of missing teeth.
  • The Sleep Apnea Epidemic. Led by Dr. Nathanson. This program discusses symptoms and risks of sleep apnea and how dentists treat sleep apnea with oral sleep appliance therapy as a safe alternative to continuous positive air pressure (CPAP) machines.
