Co-Sponsored the first Rental Registration bill for rental homes in Baltimore County history Approved the nationally award winning Honeygo Plan in Perry Hall establishing quality design standards and reducing the housing density from 12,000 units to 3,200 units. Obtained funding to purchase the Perry Hall Mansion, circa 1773, engraved on the rings of Perry Hall High School graduates. Worked to obtained 108 acres of park land for the Perry Hall area. Approved legislation to prohibit PUDs in Honeygo area. Initiated the first community conservation plan in Baltimore County for the Essex and Middle River area which led to similar plans for Towson, Parkville and other county communities. Started the Incentive Purchase Plan to encourage home ownership and deter rental properties in neighborhoods. Supported senior citizen initiatives to provide better transportation, health care services and at home care programs to help keep seniors in their homes and out of nursing homes. Started a task force of academicians from various local universities and colleges to propose an open and bipartisan redistricting process. Authored a resolution to look at ways to address vacant properties in residential and commercial areas in Baltimore County communities. Authored two laws to prohibit minors from receiving tattoos and body piercings without parental permission.

Past Approved School Renovations Chapel Hill ES: $2.6 million for new addition and renovations Carney ES: $2.9 million for sprinkler system, fire alarm system, computer data wiring Harford Hill ES: $2.57 million for fire alarm system, water heater, computer data wiring Perry Hall ES: $2.7 million for sprinkler system, plumbing upgrade, computer data wiring Pine Grove ES: $2.05 million for sprinkler system, fire alarm system, new hot water boilers Seven Oaks ES: $0.3 million for computer data wiring, network equipment & video system Villa Cresta ES: $3.1 million for sprinkler system, water heater, auto temperature control system Perry Hall MS: An addition and renovations were completed at the school in the fall of 1996.
